Why do you love UCI?

I love UCI because the quality of teaching here has far exceeded my expectations. I have had the fortune of being taught by several professors who are highly receptive to students’ suggestions and willing to make accommodations to better suit our needs. Moreover, my professors’ extensive knowledge has been demonstrated through their ability to clearly articulate complex concepts. I always look forward to attending lectures from professors who have mastered this skill.

How can you be a successful Anteater?

Being a successful Anteater often entails a strong grasp on time management techniques that fuel motivation and efficiency in one’s work. Each individual has a distinct way of working that can shape the development of their most suitable time management strategies. For instance, I can avoid procrastination by allocating smaller chunks of time to any given project over a longer period as opposed to trying to finish all the work immediately before the deadline. I can maintain motivation to do so by rewarding myself with short breaks whenever I successfully complete a task related to the project.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

I am obsessed with crochet! I started my first project at the beginning of January 2023 and I have loved it ever since. I mainly crochet clothing, but I plan to try my hand at making plushies and room decor as well.
