Why do you love UCI?
I love UCI largely because of the people I’ve met here. Some of my closest friendships have come from the activities and organizations I’ve been involved in on campus, and those relationships have been pivotal in my college experience. UCI does a great job at creating a welcoming environment where it’s easy to find a sense of belonging that fits your background or interests. And of course, I love the beauty of our campus!
How can you be a successful Anteater?
To me, being a successful Anteater involves making the most of the many opportunities that UCI offers and staying curious, both in classes and beyond. Exploring unexpected paths by engaging in research, joining clubs, or simply reaching out to mentors can lead to real personal growth. While success definitely looks different for everyone, UCI’s welcoming and supportive community empowers each student to succeed in their own way.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about me is that I have a pretty big collection of fun socks. I try to pick up a new pair from every place I visit. My current favorite is a mushroom-themed pair I just got in Portland!
