Why do you love UCI?

UCI is my home away from home – I have met some of the most amazing people on this campus and I love how welcoming the campus is. There’s always something to do and there are so many opportunities to get involved on campus and find a community where you belong. I’ve been motivated to take on new challenges and succeed thanks to the support of everyone at UCI. I love that I always have the chance to help my peers feel the same way here!

How can you be a successful Anteater?

Put yourself out there and take risks! Making meaningful connections with your peers as well as faculty and staff can take you a long way in being a successful Anteater. Don’t be afraid to ask questions in class, join a club, attend office hours or even just make a friend in a class. It can be daunting – but you’ll be so glad that you did.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

I love learning languages – I am currently learning German and Spanish on Duolingo!
