Why do you love UCI?

I love UCI’s community and accepting environment. I believe that it truly sets a foundation on which students can truly evolve. UCI is where I found my closest friends, experienced the most personal growth I have ever had, and discovered the type of person I want to be. I am so grateful for everything it has given me. Joining extracurriculars on campus and meeting many people of different backgrounds has helped to change me fundamentally, and I can say for sure that I am proud of who I am becoming as a student at UCI.

How can you be a successful Anteater?

I firmly feel that every Anteater is successful in their own way. However, I do believe that it is very important to understand the power of community and sharing support. You will never know where an act of kindness could lead you. You might make a life-long friend or even unlock a new professional opportunity. As students, I think that it is so crucial to appreciate the time we have together. Make sure to put effort into your relationships with the people close to you because the time flies faster than you think.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

I love traditional/digital art and I’ve been drawing ever since elementary school! I’m always excited to try new creative hobbies and advance my existing skills 🙂
