Why do you love UCI?

I personally value individuals who are open and kind to others. I have been very lucky to have met so many UCI peers and staff that have shown so much support and care. I was able to make many friends, and hopefully a couple of lifelong friends! These connections and friendships I have made is one of the biggest reasons why I love UCI.

How can you be a successful Anteater?

Even if I put full effort towards my academics it can be a bit of a struggle. Communicating with my professors about needing more time for an assignment, needing extra support, or even problems at home has helped me a lot in the past quarter. This is a hard skill because it’s kind of scary to talk to people, but constant communication lays the grounds for understanding! Your professors and TAs can’t help you if you don’t talk to them!

What is one fun fact about yourself?

I messed up my sleep schedule so bad during finals week. I slept at 7am on one day and slept at 10am on another day. I spent all of Spring Break trying to fix my sleep schedule but it didn’t work out well. I was finally able to fix it during Week 1 of Spring Quarter and for the first time during my college life I am sleeping between 10pm-12am and waking up between 6-8am!
