Why do you love UCI?

It is a privilege to attend UCI and I am incredibly grateful to study in majors I’m interested in, attend school with some of my closest friends, and be in a comfortable and safe environment. I love the community that I’m surrounded by and the memories I’ve made with my peers thus far. UCI is a home away from home: not too far from my city and family, and not too close where I haven’t had the opportunity to make the most of my college experience.

How can you be a successful Anteater?

A successful Anteater knows that time waits for no one. If there’s something you really want to do, prioritize it and make it happen. Even if there might be other things that get in the way of it, try to optimize your day and do whatever it is you’ve been wanting to do. College is the perfect time to figure out what you want to do and how to manage your time!

What is one fun fact about yourself?

I am an avid reader of classic literature, novels, and manga. My favorite genres are romance and sports, and my favorite book is Giovanni’s Room by James Baldwin!
