Why do you love UCI?

I love UCI because of the environment. It has such a beautiful campus, and being here makes me feel motivated and at peace. On top of that, it is the people who make UCI so unique. I’ve met peers, friends, mentors, and professors who have taught me so much and supported me in ways that have helped me grow both academically and personally. As a transfer student, I really value how welcoming and encouraging the UCI community is. It’s a place where I can continue learning, building connections, and preparing for the future I want.

How can you be a successful Anteater?

To be a successful Anteater, I would encourage others to get involved and really explore everything UCI has to offer. Go to events, join clubs, and don’t be afraid to try something new. There is a huge possibility that you’ll discover new interests and meet amazing people along the way. It’s also important to know your resources; UCI has so many of them that will offer academic, mental, and personal help. Lastly, don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone and talk to others. UCI is full of awesome people, and finding your people will truly make your experience more rewarding!
