Why do you love UCI?

I love UCI because of its beautiful campus. The big trees and colorful flowers in Aldrich Park make it a great place to study or relax with friends. UCI is also built in a circle which makes the entire campus feel very connected and unified. And campus is in a great location, making it only a short drive from so many iconic SoCal things like the beach or Disneyland.

How can you be a successful Anteater?

You can be a successful Anteater by being open to meeting new people. College can be a stressful time and being able to find a strong support system can be very important for a student’s mental health. For many first-year student, college is their first time they’ve been away from their family and on their own. Being open to building new relationships can make them feel that they’ve found their new home at UCI. Getting involved with an organization on campus can be a great way to participate in something you enjoy while meet new lifelong friends with similar interests.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

I did classical ballet for fifteen years before coming to college. I also did jazz, tap, and modern dance. I performed in a number of ballets in my dance carrier including The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, Hansel and Gretel, and the Wizard of Oz.
