Why do you love UCI?
I love that UCI is a welcoming community full of passionate students with diverse interests who inspire you to be the best version of yourself. All of the faculty work endlessly to provide students with the best possible college experience while fostering a love for learning. The campus at UCI is also beautiful because you can easily walk around Aldrich Park to admire nature and relax between classes. Plus, you can always come across a new study spot on campus!
How can you be a successful Anteater?
Take advantage of everything that UCI has to offer by putting yourself out there, whether it’s trying out a new club, applying for a competitive position, or seeking out a new opportunity. You never know what will happen unless you try, and you’ll be able to find your community along the way. College is the best time to meet new people and experience new things, so savor every moment because in the blink of an eye, you’ll be graduating. Don’t forget to have fun while keeping up with your studies, balance is key!
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I used to figure skate when I was little! Eventually, I got too tall and switched to playing volleyball instead. I can still do a few jumps, spins, and spirals from muscle memory when I skate for fun. One of my favorite skills is the sit spin!
