Why do you love UCI?

UCI has the best environment! I love walking through Aldrich to take a quick route to classes that otherwise would take me ages to get to or to simply slow down to clear my mind while I eat my lunch surrounded by beautiful scenery. UCI is so special to me because of the relationships I have had the joy of building with my peers, faculty, and mentors. I am beyond grateful for the patience and support that I find in these relationships and they have inspired me to continue sharing what I have learned.

How can you be a successful Anteater?

A successful Anteater is someone who is bold. Whether it’s applying for a research position, an internship, or even joining a club, there is an opportunity for everyone to grow and connect at UCI. While navigating these opportunities may seem overwhelming at first, there is a community of supportive mentors and peers whose goal is to uplift and guide you through your journey. Ultimately, the best piece of advice I can give is to enjoy your time here, prioritize your mental and physical health, and take a shot at every interest you come across!

What is one fun fact about yourself?

I love to read books and compare them to their on-screen adaptations. I love hearing my family and friends’ perspectives and having a discussion about the director’s choices.
