Why do you love UCI?
I love UCI for giving me the opportunity to meet so many people from different backgrounds! By talking to so many different students on campus, I’m learning things about the world that I wouldn’t have known otherwise. I can’t imagine any other place where I would be able to meet so many people who are willing to share their story. Being able to make so many different but valuable connections is something that I will treasure forever.
How can you be a successful Anteater?
Step out of your comfort zone! Some of the best things, both personally and professionally, have happened to me after I got out of my own head. By seizing opportunities as they’re presented instead of overthinking them, you’re more likely to make the most out of your college experience, as well as discover passions you didn’t even know you had!
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I love video editing! For me, video editing is great way to destress and focus my energy on something other than school. Whether it be a vlog of my friends and I hanging out, or a simple day in my life, editing videos helps me hold onto the memories I cherish.
