Why do you love UCI?
I love UCI because it has provided me with opportunities to connect with people who have similar interests, goals and ambitions in life. By being a part of a small major, I have been lucky enough to build a strong community of likeminded individuals and connect with my professors. UCI has a place for everyone and welcomes each student into a supportive community and provides lifelong relationships.
How can you be a successful Anteater?
The easiest way to find success as an Anteater is through creating a healthy balance between classes, extracurriculars, friendships, and your wellbeing. Through organizing these factors in a way that is most productive for oneself, students can accomplish academic success along with personal growth and happiness. My best tip would be to balance these competing priorities through the use of a calendar that considers class as the basis of your schedule, with extracurriculars, appointments, and social gatherings built around that. When you are able to visualize your daily tasks, they become more manageable, and you are less likely to feel overwhelmed or fall behind!
What is one fun fact about yourself?
One fun fact about me is that I love to do anything outdoors, and in my free time find myself snowboarding, surfing, hiking, running, or dirt-biking! Additionally, I taught myself to crochet, and love to make miniature stuffed animals.
