Why do you love UCI?

I love UCI because its close proximity to home, peaceful environment, and supportive faculty and staff. Taking a walk through Aldrich Park (when it’s not hot) is very relaxing and refreshing. The faculty here are incredible, offering guidance and support at every stage of your academic and professional journey. There are many opportunities to connect with diverse people and grow personally.

How can you be a successful Anteater?

I believe a successful Anteater takes on opportunities for growth while recognizing their own limits. These opportunities may include stepping outside their comfort zone, tackling academic challenges, or managing greater responsibilities. Doing so helps them uncover their strengths and weaknesses, and a successful Anteater will utilize the many resources UCI offers to support them throughout their journey. To me, a successful Anteater reflects on their experiences, learns from them, and applies those lessons wherever life takes them.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

I love playing the violin! I enjoy composing, arranging, and collaborating with other musicians. After playing violin for a while, I found that my left hand fingers are slightly longer and thinner than my right hand fingers.
