Why do you love UCI?
I love UCI because it allows me to pressure both of the areas that I am passionate about, arts and science, simultaneously! I love performing at the beautiful Barclay Theater and working in a research lab with mice. UCI has connected me with my closest friends, mentors, and incredible opportunities I would not have gotten if I had gone to college somewhere else.
How can you be a successful Anteater?
College is a time for self-discovery and growth. Giving yourself grace in stressful times and remembering that you are worth so much more than a number on a test is so incredibly important. Balance is crucial; make time for studying, but also have little pockets of joy for yourself.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I have met Obama!
