Why do you love UCI?

I love UCI for how welcoming it’s been since the beginning. Coming from Northern California, I didn’t know anyone when I first got here, and I felt a little out of place. But the community quickly made me feel supported and part of something. I’ve grown a lot both personally and academically because of that. Plus, the greenery and peaceful vibe on campus really make me enjoy being here even more!

How can you be a successful Anteater?

I think there isn’t one right way to be a successful Anteater because everyone’s path is different. One of the best things you can do is actively explore all the resources UCI has to offer. There are so many opportunities to connect with others, grow your career, get support, and find your community. UCI has such a supportive environment that really wants to see you succeed. Taking that first step to reach out or get involved can make a huge difference.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

My high score in Crossy Road is 1,246. I’ve been committed to that game for years and still play it whenever I need a break!
