Why do you love UCI?
I love UCI because of the community I’ve been able to build here! At first I was a bit afraid of feeling alone or unseen on such a big campus. But, as a first-generation student, I think the diverse set of resources UCI has for students is amazing. I love the diversity of the centers that exist on campus and have enjoyed becoming involved in a lot of them like the Latinx Resource Center and SOAR.
How can you be a successful Anteater?
To become a successful Anteater you must be willing to explore new opportunities and step out of your comfort zone. It can be easy to refrain from doing things we don’t necessarily feel ready for but everything is a learning process! So, it’s important to challenge ourselves as we navigate our career interests.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I like to crochet!
