Why do you love UCI?

I love UCI for the wonderful community of vibrant and amazing people that comprise it. It has been among my fellow Anteaters that I’ve had the time of my life going through the ups and downs of this unprecedented university experience. From virtual education amidst a global pandemic to transitioning towards the new normalcy of modern college life, I’ve met some really once-in-a-lifetime people with whom I’ve had the privilege of making the most of everything that UCI offers. From kayaking in the Newport Back Bay, driving down to Seaside for a midnight donut run, and walking out of an exam with fingers crossed, I’ve always been grateful for great company among the lovely friends I’ve made here at UCI.

How can you be a successful Anteater?

I believe that anybody can be a successful Anteater by taking on every challenge that comes their way as an opportunity for growth. From my personal experience, I’ve found that college isn’t just a place for learning, but also for unlearning what may hold us back from trying new things and gaining life-changing experiences. As a part of the UCI community, we dedicate ourselves as Anteaters to try our best to improve ourselves throughout the long adventure of life.

What is one fun fact about yourself?
