Why do you love UCI?
UCI provides me with the knowledge and skills to further my academic journey while allowing me to better myself in the process. I have the freedom to take engaging classes that reinforce my knowledge and ability to have thoughtful conversations about my major topics. On top of this, I see a diverse group of people with drastically different backgrounds in various majors, allowing me to have relationships with a unique set of people. Lastly, Peter the anteater is so cute! These are some of the reasons why I love UCI.
How can you be a successful Anteater?
Being a successful Anteater means showing up for yourself and your peers during hardship. This could include attending every lecture and showing up during office hours or simply communicating with others. Allowing yourself to organize yourself and apply yourself to the best of your abilities will set you up for the greatest success. This does not mean that you cannot rest, as knowing yourself and what your mind and body need is the most important aspect of being a student. Because we are humans first and everything else second. So take care of yourself!
What is one fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about myself is that I have a twin brother! We grew up wearing the same clothes and sharing the same toys, and we were basically the same person for a couple of years. Now, we are different where he goes to UCSD, majoring in engineering. We were each other’s first best friends, and I am glad we are able to see each other’s academic journeys and soon start our careers together. Love you, Isaak. <3
