Why do you love UCI?
I love UCI because of the amazing campus and academic environment. As soon as I get out of class, I can just take in the view of Aldrich Park and walk along or through it for my next class. The amazing weather here makes me always want to just lay in the grass and laze the day away. Whenever I do have to work, the entire campus is covered in nice study spots either indoors or outdoors. UCI is a great campus to live and work at, so I love it!
How can you be a successful Anteater?
UCI is teeming with ways to become a successful Anteater, no matter if that’s academically, socially, or professionally. Clubs are always lining up around Ring Road, where you can find your next new adventure or grab a unique bite from one of the many cultural clubs. After meeting some new friends, there are so many places where you can study together, whether that’s in the Science Library, a reserved room at the Anteater Learning Pavillion, or just outside the Student Center. If you’re looking to grow professionally, you can go to the Division of Career Pathways, join a professional organization to connect with other students, or reach out to alumni and even get referred to a job (that’s how I got my current job).
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I recently got into sourdough baking and have been having a lot of fun feeding and growing Terry (the name of my sourdough starter). If you ever wanna try some just let me know and I’ll be happy to bake you some!
