Why do you love UCI?

UCI has allowed me to meet some of my lifelong friends! The communities I’ve been able to find and grow in during my time here has really been an impactful aspect of my experience. I also love how there’s so many resources for us, from therapy to the Vendor Fair, there’s always something that can help and motivate us. But most importantly, I really do love Aldrich Park, our mascot, and the good eats near campus!

How can you be a successful Anteater?

To be a successful Anteater, you really can’t let discouragement get the best of you! Always pick yourself up and try again! I have learned that failing a class doesn’t mean the end of the world and retaking a class helps reinforce the material. It is okay to try new clubs/extracurriculars until you find your crowd, especially because you get to meet so many new people. It really is hard to constantly be adapting to new environments and situations but in the end, you can find pride in trying your best!

What is one fun fact about yourself?

I really love listening to music! I spent 116, 285 minutes on Spotify last year and my favorite genre is R&B. My love language is exchanging music and making Spotify blends, I’m on the search for someone to beat my 95% taste match! I am always geeking about a new song every day, so feel free to talk to me about music!
