Why do you love UCI?

I love UCI because I love the environment and vibe here! It’s very chill and mellow when I want it to be, but there’s plenty to do and lots of people to meet should you seek it out. There are a wide variety of clubs to suit all sorts of hobbies and interests and everyone’s very welcoming and friendly.

How can you be a successful Anteater?

I think the most important part to being a successful Anteater is to fully utilize all the resources at school. From peer academic advising to attending workshops and events, there’s a very wide network to be built at UCI with people from all sorts of backgrounds and professions to guide you along your way. While it often takes some courage and getting out of your comfort zone to meet and talk to new people, the connections that can be built are very helpful and I’ve learned as much outside the classroom as I have inside it since coming to UCI.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

A fun fact about myself is I’m an avid car enthusiast! When I have time (and the funds) I’m constantly tinkering on my car and modifying it to upgrade it in different aspects. I love going to the racetrack on weekends with my friends from [rev@UCI] (mailto:rev@UCI) and Anteater Sim Racing. I also recently got into watching Formula 1 racing and hope to be able to go watch a race in person one day!
