Why do you love UCI?
I love UCI because of how supported and encouraged I feel to go after my goals. There are numerous opportunities and events to explore if you open yourself up to meeting new people and new experiences. I always feel like I can be true to myself at UCI and the staff and friends I have made here have made UCI an uplifting community instead of just a university.
How can you be a successful Anteater?
Being a successful Anteater takes courage and initiative to break out of your shell and see what the world has to offer. Once you start exploring all the possibilities and opportunities, it’s important to know how to manage your time and never let any setbacks stop you from pursuing what you really want. I would say always keep on and keep on trying for your goals because opportunities and success will only come to you if you make the effort.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about myself is that I am an artist in my free time and have spent lots of time making portraits of pets, people, and my own cat and dog. I have been drawing since before I can remember and have never stopped! My love for art also has also turned into a love for anatomy; I have even spent one summer making an écorché of the human body just for fun!
