Why do you love UCI?

I love UCI because it introduced me to many people from diverse backgrounds as well as numerous resources aimed to support students in their personal, academic, and/or professional careers. UCI has so much to offer to different students with varying needs, and the campus community is very supportive and inclusive. Everyone is always willing to help out each other, which has ultimately enriched my college experience and cultivated my growth as an individual.

How can you be a successful Anteater?

Simply stepping out of your comfort zone and opening yourself to new experiences will help you succeed as an Anteater! From joining a club to applying for a campus job to utilizing UCI’s beneficial resources, seeking out different opportunities to involve yourself within the campus community will make your time here at UCI extremely meaningful and memorable. You never know what amazing people you will meet, what perspectives you will broaden, or what rewarding skills you will build by taking the first step in trying something you’ve never done before.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

A fun fact about me is that I really enjoy origami and folding paper cranes in my free time. I once folded over one thousand tiny paper cranes in the span of two months, as there is a legend stating that you can make a wish if you fold 1000 cranes within a year.
