Why do you love UCI?
I love UCI because of its unique student body. Everyone here has a great sense of individuality and is very adjustable. Because of this, group projects and other collaborative engineering work are enjoyable to participate in. Other students at UCI want their peers to succeed and will help in any way. Do not be afraid to ask for help from anyone-peers or professors! The UCI community is supportive and kind if you put yourself out there.
How can you be a successful Anteater?
The best advice I have received is that success in school cannot be measured just by a grade but by your understanding. Life can be insanely stressful at times, but it is helpful to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. All the classes, activities, and experiences are just tools in preparation for life after college. Try every day to enjoy your learning, resources, and help here at UCI while you can and to live in the moment. The grades ted to follow if you find true passion and motivation in your work. Mistakes and failures are guaranteed, but these can be built on and utilized to create a deeper understanding of yourself, which is needed for anyone to succeed and be happy.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I am from Wisconsin, and I do love cheese. My favorites are Havarti, brie, and mild cheddar. I also do own a cheese hat.
