Personal Biography

Why do you love UCI?

One of the biggest things I love about UCI is the various opportunities of getting involved on campus. This could be through club sports, school clubs and even becoming a teaching assistant you have much to choose from. What’s especially to love about UCI is the opportunity to meet many new people all with different backgrounds yet with one thing in common. Everyone has the goal of succeeding, whether this be professionally, academically or even athletically. Having such a great community of support makes Irvine a school to love. Lastly, I love UCI because of the wonderful staff that helps maintain our beautiful campus (especially Aldrich Park). You can always spark up a conversation with any of our staff and get to know their own story. It’s a refreshing piece of UCI in having such an encouraging crew around.

How can you be a successful Anteater?

One of the best ways to become a successful Anteater is to take advantage of the various resources that are available throughout campus. Finding out more information of everything our school has to offer is a great way to become successful. Furthermore, by staying involved on campus you can also be successful. Ensuring that you stay on top of deadlines in your various classes and being able to time manage is crucial. Knowing how to properly provide attention to your different classes is an important step in succeeding as an Anteater. Another very important factor in being successful is taking chances. If you’re uneasy about joining a new club or becoming a part of a new crew, try it! You never know what friends you could make and what the future might hold. Being an Anteater means that you do something out of your comfort zone and try something new, you never know you might find something you love !

What is one fun fact about yourself?

One fun fact about me is that my first language was Spanish! This meant that my parents could keep anything a secret by simply speaking in English.
