Why do you love UCI?
I love UCI because it has always felt like a home away from home. From the first time I visited UCI I felt at ease being surrounded by Aldrich Park and the students around me. UCI has always allowed me to feel supported through its plethora of resources and engaging, wholesome activities. In addition I love UCI because of all the people I have been able to meet, and how being in this environment pushed me to be the person I am today.
How can you be a successful Anteater?
It is impossible to give a concrete answer to this question because everyone’s definition and interpretation of success is different. While what success is can vary from person to person, one piece of advice that I would give to everyone in order to be successful is to not be afraid to try new things and to get involved on campus. UCI provides resources and opportunities that can help students achieve their version of success through clubs, advising, courses, and more. To be successful I would recommend being involved with campus life and not being afraid to ask questions.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I am a second degree black belt in two different styles!
