Personal Biography
Why do you love UCI?
I love UCI because it allows me to explore every interest that I have from swing dancing to learning an entirely new language. There is truly a club for every person’s favorite things, which really offered me the opportunity to indulge both my academic and artistic side. I am so grateful to be a part of Claire Trevor School of the Arts in particular because we are offered so many amazing opportunities to work with professionals in the field who truly want us to grow and succeed. I can honestly say that I am proud to be a student here because everyone I have met pushes me to be a better version of myself and I know that I push my fellow students to succeed in the same way. I have met so many amazing people, with every single one of them being just as passionate about learning as I am. This campus truly brings together people from all over who have the singular goal or becoming better students, people, and Anteaters.
How can you be a successful Anteater?
The best way to be a successful Anteater is to join clubs, talk to your professors, and interact with everyone in your classes! Everyone at UCI is here to learn and grow, and the most fun and enlightening experiences I have had are those that were shared with new friends. Don’t be afraid to get out of your comfort zone a little (and trust me, as an introvert I know that’s scary) because you just might find a new life-long friend by accident! Let yourself be passionate about the things you love because there will always be an Anteater by your side who loves it just as much. The best way to be a successful Anteater is to let yourself explore anything and everything that you have ever found interesting or exciting because you never know what opportunities are coming your way!
What is one fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about myself is that I have played so many different sports! I come from a sports family (and ended up being artist anyways), so I have tried so many things in an attempt to find that one things that I could stick with. I’ve taken part in soccer, baseball, softball, competitive swimming, rugby, archery, water polo, and more! I still really enjoy sports and athletics, but I never really enjoyed the competitive side of them. I’m always down to play a fun game with friends, though!
