Why do you love UCI?
I have grown to love this campus because of the communities here. As a transfer, I was nervous about finding a new community here, if I would find any at all. However, I noticed right away that UCI had a plethora of different communities that were welcoming and supportive. It was through these communities that I found friends, mentors and memories that I have grown fond of.
How can you be a successful Anteater?
To be a successful Anteater it is essential to stay ahead of your workload given that UCI is a quarter system. I know of many fellow students who find it troublesome to catch up once they are behind in assignments. It is also important to communicate and ask for help if you are having trouble with academics or if it is personal. I have noticed that there will always be someone here, whether it be at UCI or somewhere else, who will be able to help you in your time of need. Overall, having a good work ethic with proper time management and asking for help when you are struggling is essential to ensure that you are a successful anteater.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about myself is that I got a whole sleeve within 6 months. I started with something small on back on my 19th birthday and then it sort of just went all the way down to my left arm. My sleeve started out as patchwork but then filled it all in with some background. All of my tattoos has meaning/tells a story about myself.
