Personal Biography
Why do you love UCI?
I love UCI because of the people I met here! At first, I didn’t think that I would enjoy UCI as it was close to home, however, I’ve met so many people who came from across the country and found similar interests as them. I wouldn’t have met them if I didn’t go to UCI so I appreciate the different cultures and experiences that they bring into my life.
How can you be a successful Anteater?
To be a successful Anteater, you need to be able to enjoy your life. It’s easy to rush into college intending to join as many clubs as you can and pile on your classes in order to not fall behind, however, you should focus on your well-being. I enjoyed my time here at UCI by joining a couple of clubs and dedicating more time into creating relationships rather than to just add another line on my resume. With these friendships, I was able to be successful and keep track of my classes to focus on my career.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about myself is that I’ve been to about 14 countries! My family loves to travel and I’ve developed a love for the architecture and food in different places. I’d say that my favorite places to visit were Japan, Spain, and Singapore. In the future, I hope to visit Switzerland and Greece!
