Personal Biography
Why do you love UCI?
I love UCI because of the many multidisciplinary opportunities provided in this school. Being in the Physical Sciences’ department, you are privy to not only science labs, experiments, data, but you can also involve yourself in the social, cultural, and political aspects. There are so many clubs, organizations, and groups that overall enrich the experience here at UCI. Furthermore, I love how in having such multidisciplinary opportunities, you are able to meet people who may have a completely different discipline and you are able to connect and build strong friendships!
How can you be a successful Anteater?
You can be a successful Anteater by asking questions and actively getting involved. Asking questions and being involved can be difficult, however, it is incredibly empowering to build on your knowledge! You will likely find those with the same values and principles as yourself in doing such, and over time, you will build a community as well. Especially given the vast amount of resources here, it is crucial to make the most of these opportunities and build a strong, knowledge foundation for yourself and others.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about myself is that I currently play multiple instruments. Music played a large part in my upbringing and inspired me to pursue music whenever I had free time. I have been currently playing the ukulele, clarinet, and the electric bass!
