Why do you love UCI?
I grew up going to UCI for soccer practice and immediately wanted to go to school there. The school has been kind and welcoming, allowing me to talk and interact with many different people which makes me appreciate UCI. I love the food around campus and how many different options are available when needed. Aldrich Park is amazing and makes me really appreciate nature and how lovely it is.
How can you be a successful Anteater?
Do not be afraid to get out of your comfort zone. Talk to as many people as possible, apply to different things that you would not normally apply to; just do whatever you can to be uncomfortable. It may seem daunting and contradictory, but it will ultimately help you grow and learn from every single experience you can get at UCI. Just remember that there is only one life, so there is no need to hold back and just go into things with the hope of learning something.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I love nature. Being outside brings me the most peace, and I will always try to be out and about. I enjoy almost everything outside and almost all my hobbies consist of outdoor activities. This includes soccer, surfing, beach volleyball, basketball, tennis, and so on.
