Why do you love UCI?
I love UCI because it has given me the opportunity to build a supportive community that encourages my growth both as a student and as a person. The students, faculty, and staff are genuinely invested in your success. I also enjoy the scenery on campus as it is constantly evolving with the seasons. There is always a new place to explore or to relax and enjoy the sun
How can you be a successful Anteater?
To be a successful anteater, being vulnerable and open to asking for help is important. College is a completely new world, and navigating it can be challenging. Being able to ask for help can help lessen that load while also giving you the opportunity to connect to more people. It also means putting yourself in uncomfortable position such as contacting professors, having interviews, or making new friends. The reassuring part is knowing that at every level, there’s always someone willing to support you.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I’ve played the violin for 10 years! I’ve done all types of music groups and have even traveled internationally to play. At one point, I wanted to professionally pursue music but opted to keep it as a hobby. Nowadays, I love to watch concerts instead,
