Personal Biography
Why do you love UCI?
At UCI, I’m empowered to pursue all of my passions—academic, professional, and personal. As a woman in engineering, I’ve found a strong community of like-minded peers and mentors who motivate and challenge me. Whether I’m collaborating with fellow engineers on exciting projects or diving into hands-on learning experiences, I feel constantly supported in my academic journey. Beyond the classroom, UCI also gives me space to explore my interests outside of engineering through clubs and events. It’s a place where I can truly be myself, build lasting connections, and shape my future in meaningful ways.
How can you be a successful Anteater?
Success starts with putting yourself out there—after all, you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. UC Irvine offers a wide range of exceptional opportunities that can set you on the path toward both personal and professional growth. While some of these experiences may require stepping outside your comfort zone, the rewards are well worth it. Stay true to yourself, your goals, and your passions, and I guarantee you will have a successful Anteater era!!!
What is one fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about me is that I was a competitive dancer from ages 5 to 16. Although that chapter of my life has come to a close, dance played a huge role in shaping who I am today. It sparked my love for music, helped me develop confidence, and contributed to the outgoing, energetic personality I carry with me wherever I go.
