Personal Biography
Why do you love UCI?
I love UCI for two main reasons – my friends and the beautiful campus. UCI, for me, has been a breath of fresh air, and the new environment helped me step outside of my comfort zone. I have met so many amazing people who mean so much to me, and I get to enjoy their company amongst the trees and wonderful weather.
How can you be a successful Anteater?
I always tell myself to try my best because that is the most I can do. I try not to linger on my mistakes, but I make my best effort to learn from them. Maintaining the core values that my parents, friends, and mentors have instilled in me helps keep me focused on my goals.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about me is that despite my very short stature, I am somewhat athletic. I love swimming and recently started going to the gym. I am pretty proud of my 225-pound deadlift PR and my 135-pound squat PR. I am hoping to increase my personal records by the end of the year, and my main goal is to bench 135 pounds :).
