Personal Biography
Why do you love UCI?
There are several reasons I love UCI, the first being its location. I was born and raised in SoCal and love taking advantage of OC weather and proximity to the beach, mountains, & desert. Second, I really love UCI’s culture of curiosity and searching for knowledge. All of my professors and classmates share my love of learning and are passionate about the work and research they do.
How can you be a successful Anteater?
Being a successful Anteater, in my opinion, is rooted in taking advantage of all of the different opportunities and experiences UCI has to offer. There are so many resources on campus to help you with your academics, mental health, and basic needs, to name a few. In addition, social opportunities on campus are abundant, with clubs and orgs always looking to invite more people to a friendly community of like-minded individuals. While succeeding academically is important in college, UCI is also a great place to put yourself out there and be thriving socially as well!
What is one fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about me is that I love music, and my friends and I enjoy having listening parties for new albums when they are released. Some of my favorite artists are Ariana Grande, Foo Fighters, Jungle, Laufey, and Kacey Musgraves. I like to think that I have a pretty diverse taste in music and am always open to new song or genre recommendations!
