Personal Biography

Why do you love UCI?

UCI has been a place where I have grown and begun my professional development. I have met wonderful mentors and faculty, who truly want you to succeed, and I am forever grateful for the opportunities they have provided me. Throughout my time at UCI, I have learned to step out of my comfort zone and grow at my own pace with the support of my fellow Anteaters and professors. As a first-generation student, I value how much UCI provides resources and support that help me flourish.

How can you be a successful Anteater?

To be a successful Anteater, you must take risks! By venturing out into the unknown, Anteaters can try out new opportunities that can lead them into their future life paths. Also, learning to receive feedback is crucial since we can use these moments to improve ourselves and our skills. Throughout our time at UCI, we should jump out of our comfort zones, which will help us see ourselves in a new light.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

A fun fact about myself is I love watching Studio Ghibli movies, and my favorite movie from this collection is Kiki’s Delivery Service!
