Why do you love UCI?
I love UCI because the community is so welcoming and supportive. From my involvements in on-campus programs, I have received unconditional support, advice, and guidance in my endeavors. Being a part of this campus has provided me with the resources to grow academically, professionally, and personally.
How can you be a successful Anteater?
I can be a successful Anteater by using Google Calendars to ensure I am meeting all my deadlines and not overbooking myself. It’s also useful for helping me keep track of my commitments and planning for future events. In college, there are so many opportunities to be involved in, but I also need to be realistic with my time and know my capacity which I can visually see in Google Calendars.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about me is I am a first-generation college student! Although college was an unknown territory, UCI has helped me thrive during my transition by offering first-gen support programs such as Summer Bridge Scholars, TRIO Scholars, and SAGE Scholars.
