Why do you love UCI?
Hi everyone! I am Christina and I am a third-year Fine Arts major with an intent to minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship! Regarding my other involvements and interests on and off-campus, I am also currently a Marketing Assistant at UCI’s Campus Recreation Center and the VP of Marketing for my Panhellenic sorority! My concentrations within art are mixed media sculpture and photography and I am currently in the Undergraduate Honors program.
My favorite aspects of UC Irvine are most definitely the community I am surrounded by. In every endeavor I make way in, I am always encountered with overarching support and resources! Over the years I have found such supporting and caring peers in my courses, involvements, and extracurriculars, all of which inspire me to be a better student and person overall.
How can you be a successful Anteater?
One tip I have for incoming Anteaters is to stay true and be YOURSELF! Your first coming years of college are the most life-changing moments one can experience and as you experience new things and dive into your future staying true to yourself can guide your way. Coming to UCI for me was a huge shift considering I have moved to various places all of my life. I was always hesitant about making new friends or being concerned about what people thought about me, but one thing I tried to keep in mind was just to be myself!
What is one fun fact about yourself?
A little fun fact about me is that I have lived in Italy for three years!
